Winter Storage

For more than 40 years we have been offering winter storage to our customers and others who travel from LI Sound and beyond to winter with us.  We take great pride in our reputation of handling boats with the utmost care.  On average, we store 250 to 300 boats at our 4 acre paved yard.

You can count on us to keep your boat safe and secure until the season arrives again.  We offer a paved, well lit, fenced secure yard to store your boat in.  The owner lives on site and regularly walks the yard to check covers and blocking.  

With our 60 ton travelift and rebuilt travelift well we can handle vessels up to 60 feet long and 18' beam.  Our travelift is open ended so we can handle large sailboats.  We also have a hydraulic self propelled yard trailer and Taylor marine forklift, all run by a skilled crew.

We have always welcomed the DIY customer as long as they respect the environment, other customers, and our yard.  Our onsite marine store has the supplies you need to accomplish the job.  If we don't have it, our distributors can usually have it to us first thing in the morning to keep you on schedule

We have many independent contractors who regularly work in the yard.  Everything from winterizing, shrink wrapping,  mechanical, fiberglass, to bottom stripping and painting.  We can give you options to accomplish the job.  

Winter storage runs from October 15th thru May 21.  It includes lift out,  pressure wash, blocking and stands, access to electric and water, and launch in the spring.  A 40% deposit is due with a signed contract before haulout.
